Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, Teams Telephony, and OneDrive for Business.Experience with PowerShell scripting for Office 365 administration and automation.Strong knowledge of both on-premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including user synchronization, group policies, and identity management.Familiarity with email security protocols and technologies, such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.Experience with configuring and managing DLP policies, compliance management, and eDiscovery in the M365 environment.Experience with configuring and managing MDM solutions within Intune or similar platforms, ensuring secure mobile access to M365 services.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Experience in managing hybrid Exchange environments is preferred.Experience in managing and troubleshooting MS Teams, including voice configurations, Teams telephony and administering Teams policies is preferred.Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices is preferred.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, are a plus.
* ITIL Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Office 365, with a particular focus on Messaging and Exchange. This role will involve administration of Moody’s Office 365 environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Administer, implement, and manage Office 365 services with a focus on Messaging and Exchange.Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Office 365 environment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 services, including email flow, mailbox management, and calendar synchronization.Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Office 365 services with other systems and applications.Develop and maintain documentation (SOP documents and KBs) for Office 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.Stay up-to-date with the latest Office 365 features, updates, and best practices.Implement security measures to protect Office 365 data and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.Participate in the planning and execution of Office 365 migrations, upgrades, routine maintenance, compliance audits and project activities.Conduct regular internal audits and assessments of the Office 365 environment to identify areas for improvement.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
