Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in the Private Equity industry based in New York. This role involves a strong focus on the management and support of macOS and iOS devices within a Windows-centric infrastructure, utilizing skills in Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities • Engineer solutions for a fleet of macOS and iOS devices, ensuring a seamless user experience. • Provide high-level, technical support to executives, minimizing downtime and enhancing their experience with macOS devices. • Use Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune to manage and maintain macOS devices, ensuring systems are secure, up-to-date, and running efficiently. • Develop and maintain shell and PowerShell scripts to automate device management tasks and enhance executive user experience. • Collaborate closely with executive staff to understand their technical needs and deliver personalized, effective solutions. • Seek out and implement enhancements to the macOS support framework to better serve the executive team. • Lead and support technology projects, introducing new software and hardware solutions where appropriate. • Offer training and resources to executives to ensure they are maximizing the capabilities of their macOS devices. • Generate detailed documentation outlining IT support protocols, system configurations, and processes for executive support. • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information. • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain consistency and share best practices across the organization. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, preferably in the financial sector • Proficiency in Mac OS and Mac OS X • Demonstrated expertise in JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro • Strong skills in providing End-User Support • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows • Ability to use PowerShell and PowerShell Scripting • Familiarity with Intune and Windows Intune • Experience in DevOps and Devops Automation • Proficient in Scripting, using Scripting Tools, and Shell Scripting Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
