**Check out this NEW Opportunity with Axient!** Axient is seeking a **Systems Engineer** to join our team at **Washinton Navy Yard** in **Washington D.C..** Work is to be performed onsite 3-4 days per week at WNY with 1-2 days remote. **Secret clearance** is required. **What you will do...** Responsibilities include system engineering plan review and development, program and schedule management, systems engineering, operations analysis, system integration, export compliance, documentation and procedure review, technical brief development, and communication with external stakeholders. + Provide Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy PEO IWS 4.0 System Security Engineering (SSE) Team; + Work both off-site in contractor spaces and on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC; + Provide programmatic and technical support; + Provide oversight of System Security (SS) solution development, compliance with Technical Implementation Guide (TIG), Anti-Tamper (AT) Framework, and integration with FMS systems; + Provide support to Risk Management process; + Develop and review of Systems Engineering Plans (SEP) and SE Management Plans (SEMP); + Review vendor-developed AT plans; + Draft and review point papers, general correspondence, and technical briefings; + Develop and maintain program schedule. **Skills you will need...** + Requirements: + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in DoD Systems Engineering support + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field from an accredited university + Demonstrated ability supporting diverse programmatic and technical tasks + Demonstrated ability operate independently + Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations and work with external stakeholders. + Strong MS Office suite skills + DoD Secret ClearanceDesired Experience: + Familiarity with Security Cooperation Policy, specifically Foreign Military Sales. + Familiarity with Combat System Architecture including combat systems design, production, operations, and support processes. + Familiarity with Agile methodology + Experience in developing System Security System Engineering Plans (SEP), System Security Plans, technical artifacts, integrated fielding schedule. + Experience in supporting SSE activities as described in DoD Acquisition guidelines.Experience in technical communication with senior level stakeholders, risk management, trade-off analysis, and developing path forward to support FMS export \#CJ APPLY HERE (https://careers-axient.icims.com/jobs/6166/systems-engineer/job?mode=apply&apply=yes&in\_iframe=1&hashed=-336025105) Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance or access must meet eligibility requirements that most often include US citizenship.
