Altamira Technologies seeks Systems Engineers at Multiple Career Levels to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment. Our Systems Engineers provide development, integration, operations and sustainment for next generation, cutting-edge satellite ground software. Systems Engineers provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel, perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, algorithm development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement validation and verification. Systems Engineers support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development, interface with personnel from other organizations, and represent the program at technical interchange meetings. Systems Engineers also participate in daily program scrum meetings and provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.

Required Skills:

Experience in Systems Engineering lifecycleExperience Conducting performance analyses, risk analyses, and trade studiesAbility to Define external and internal interfacesAbility to manage and maintain assigned documents in accordance with established systems engineering and configuration management proceduresProvide clarification of requirements to the software development teamExperience supporting the Systems Engineering Integration Test (SEIT) team in preparation and conduct of program reviews  Perform functional decomposition of requirements to meet system and domain level needsExperience of Agile software development lifecycle modelsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of administrationCURRENT TS clearance REQUIRED (SCI or SCI eligibility preferred).   .  

Desired Skills:

Experience in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management and/or Ground SystemsSystems Engineering experience on a large government software development contractExperience in Systems Engineer process development and deploymentExperience working in an Agile DevSecOps environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration, and Verification teamsExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development methods Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databaseExperience with Matlab, Python, or other scripting languagesExperience with SysML

Education & Experience Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree (typically in STEM focused discipline - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience with a Masters degree (typically in STEM focused discipline - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

 

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $90,000 to $225,000.  However, Altamira Technologies Corporation considers multiple variables when determining compensation, including but not limited to, the level of responsibilities, prior work experience, education/certifications, customer contractual specifications, and any clearance requirements.
