The Globally Contested Logistics and Supply Chain department (N154) within the Operations in Contested Environment Division (N150), aims to holistically address Logistics and Supply Chain challenges that face our nation, with a focus on the Department of Defense. We accomplish our mission by preparing for and sustaining power projection while under a persistent, multi-domain attack in contested environments through dynamic basing, resupply, and maintenance across 3 focus areas:

Understanding the complexity of logistics and supply chains to develop resilient logistics networksIncreasing decision advantage by providing realistic logistics constraints and options to increase lethality

Recommending mitigations for critical supply chain and signatures vulnerabilities to ensure a robust combat readiness capability

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Systems Engineering, requirements engineering, systems architecture, test and evaluation, system design, system life-cycle management, quality management, design of experiments, and process analysis and improvementProvide recommendations on applying the fundamentals of systems engineering to complex processes across disparate government and industry organizationsDevelop written reports, prototypes, models and oral presentations to convey technical solutions and recommendations across a diverse sponsor baseAnalyze options across a wide range of possibilities and quickly determine best courses of actionEffectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage multiple tasks against many competing prioritiesRecommend best of breed approaches from across the government and industry to creatively address identified sponsor challenges

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent combination of related education and work experienceMust be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearancePassion for using data to solve challenging real-world problemsExcellent written/verbal communications skillsDemonstrated experience collaborating successfully with teamsProven track record to try new things and achieve significant resultsExperience with model based systems engineering (MBSE)This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.

Experience with SysMLExperience with Requirements creation and DOORSExperience with any of the Systems Engineering areasExperience with the Systems Engineering LifecycleKnowledgeable in the government and retail supply area
