Key Tasks:

DCCA is hiring cleared Systems Engineers (SE) of all experience levels for a variety of current and new contracts in the Annapolis Junction/Fort Meade area, supporting the DoD/Intelligence Community!

Required Skills:

We are looking for team members who are highly motivated to support the national security mission and interested in being part of a growing organization Desire to learn new techniques or use a new tool, or strengthen an existing skillset Work as part of a team, or even lead a team of other engineers Provide and implement recommendations for complex systems Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills SETA experience

A majority of positions fall within the following experience guidelines:

SE 0 – no demonstrated experience required with Bachelor’s degree in a technically relevant field SE 1 – 7+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 12 years of experience SE 2 – 14+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 19 years of experience SE 3 – 20+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 25 years of experience

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an Agile development team/environment, conducting sprint planning, etc. Cloud technology and/or certifications Experience leading a team of engineers Big data Analytics CNO Security DevOps

Required Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technically relevant field

 

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 70,000 to 258,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
