As Senior Systems Engineer – Product Owner you will:

\r\n\r\n

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer – Product Owner, to join our engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the continued development of an advanced, leading-edge, software system providing excellent technical guidance and team communication. As the Senior Systems Engineer – Product Owner (SE – PO) you will function in a technical role in a SAFe Agile development environment and effectively work and communicate with all levels of Program Leadership, Customers, and Engineers on the Program team.

\r\nWhat You Will Do

\r\n\r\n

As a SE - PO, you will collaborate with the systems engineering and subcontractor teams to design and develop software.
\r\nThe SE – PO assists in providing technical direction and clarification to subcontractors during the entire software development lifecycle; from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and operations.
\r\nThe SE – PO performs solution decomposition from customer epics, to capabilities, to features, to stories according to SAFe practices.
\r\nThe SE – PO will apply systems engineering expertise in particular to feature designs to reduce overall risk to the software development lifecycle.
\r\nThe SE – PO will engage with customer user representatives to gather user needs and incorporate into the feature designs.
\r\nThe SE – PO will also engage with SMEs from other disciplines to fully understand the solution and document the designs.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

This position requires Active TS/SCI Clearance.

\r\n\r\n

\r\nThe Ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience

\r\n\r\n

• Experience working in an Agile development team environment with multi-discipline engineers and stake holders, developing system solutions to meet customer requirements.

\r\n\r\n

• Experienced with requirements decomposition and experience with CONOPS development

\r\n\r\n

• Solution oriented, strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving and time management skills

\r\n\r\n

• Extensive systems engineering experience, including support to development of large software systems, as Technical Lead or with subject matter expert experience; and extensive engineering experience working in the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodology that ensures high quality software is built and released to end-users quickly and within cost and schedule parameters.

\r\n\r\n

• Experience using Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), and evaluation of COTS.

\r\n\r\n


\r\nPreferred Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n

• Experience working with or developing MBSE and DoDAF operational views for design detail

\r\n\r\n

• AWS cloud experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation

\r\n\r\n

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience, as a System Engineer or working directly in such roles

\r\n\r\n

• Experience using modeling resources and methodologies like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, is a plus

\r\n\r\n

• CompTIA Security + Certification – Linux

\r\n\r\n

• Experience with the Cloud technologies and Cloud migration, Containerization and databases, Automation (Build, Deploy, Test)

\r\n\r\n

\r\nPay Range: $95.00 - $105.00 per hour.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n
