We are looking for a highly skilled Expert Cloud Systems Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multiple cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function in the Cloud. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop provide top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community. **Responsibilities include:** + Partner with the Program Manager and Chief Architect to ensure smooth program execution, strong team building, defending work share and growing scope. + Responsible for providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams in the design, development, fielding, and support of the system. + Represent the technical team to project managers, PTLs, functions and executive leadership. + Responsible for developing the overall technical solution for a product or system. + Decision authority between the System Architect and entire engineering team and is responsible for developing the overall technical solution for the system. + Influences the design, development, test, and verification. + Responsible for identifying and communicating technical risks and opportunities between the design team, system architect and program management team. + Ensures design to Cost is part of the overall solution. Performs as the technical POC to the customer in support of the PM and PTL. Performs system design, technical performance, and other system needs, provide technical stewardship of the engineering effort for the entire program ensuring the solution meets customer programmatic and technical requirements within the allocated engineering cost and schedule **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** We are actively seeking to fill multiple positions within this Job category with candidates that have a minimum of 16 years' relevant experience. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
