The Systems Engineer 1 (SE1) ensures that space/ground systems requirements are achieved, analyzes system requirements, develops functional performance requirements, conducts trade studies, and allocates requirements to space and ground system elements. The Systems Engineer 1 is responsible for interface control during development and maintenance activities and for the integration and test planning necessary to verify (prelaunch) that system requirements have been realized. The Systems Engineer 1 is responsible for balancing specialty engineering (safety, human factors, reliability, maintainability, quality assurance, logistics, and contamination) requirements such that system performance requirements are achieved.

This position is for the MSR CCRS Project, specifically to provide Systems Engineering Analysis support; SE analysis support to discipline engineering. Support CCRS discipline leads (e.g., mechanical systems engineer, electrical systems engineer) in documentation and technical resource tracking (mission equipment list, power equipment list, etc.)
