McCallie Associates, Inc. is the prime contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Systems Engineering Advanced Services II (SEAS II) contract.  McCallie has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer 1 with at least 5 years of space mission or instrument systems engineering experience to support on-going NASA space mission projects.

The Systems Engineer 1 ensures that space/ground systems requirements are achieved, analyzes system requirements, develops functional performance requirements, conducts trade studies, and allocates requirements to space and ground system elements. The Systems Engineer 1 is responsible for interface control during development and maintenance activities and for the integration and test planning necessary to verify (prelaunch) that system requirements have been realized. The Systems Engineer 1 is responsible for balancing specialty engineering (safety, human factors, reliability, maintainability, quality assurance, logistics, and contamination) requirements such that system performance requirements are achieved.
