Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Springfield, VA. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation. + Supports systems engineering principles throughout the system’s lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement. + Supports the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area. + Supports contributions to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents. **Basic Qualifications:** + 4 years of IT relevant experience + Bachelor's degree in STEM field; or 4 additional years of relevant experience + Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements, use case development, requirements derivation and developing technical project artifacts. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in systems engineering. Master's degree in STEM field. + Relevant industry standard certifications. + Familiarity with Agile software development process. + Experience with software engineering processes. + Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies **Clearance Requirements:** + Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain & maintain a Poly **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time + Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
