Requirements Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Systems Engineer II / III to support a DoD project. This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements for the position include: + 3+ years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web and virtual or physical hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. Individual shall have experience in software architecture and in hosting of applications integrating various network operating systems, application programs and virtual or physical hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance support. Individual shall consider overall project design including cost and schedule that may be associated with a project. + 1+ years of technical experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Level III individual shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel. + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Required Certifications: + CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). + IEEE CS Software Development Professional or a vendor/platform specific certification such as: + Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), + Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications, + CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), + Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), + VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), + Citrix Certified Administrator, + Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Associate or Professional, Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification or other certifications relevant to the role. + Individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I or II or III.
