Systems Engineer III
ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified **Systems Engineer III** in **Ft. Meade, MD** . **Responsibilities include:** + Focusing on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints. + Applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement. + Interacting with ICON project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. + Communicating with other Technical Direction Plan (TDP) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives. + Technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area. + Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents. + Ensuring regulatory and requirements compliance of IT systems. + Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff. **Basic qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline and nine (9) years of systems engineering experience. **Preferred qualifications:** + Master's degree in STEM or related discipline. + Relevant industry standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certifications. + Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies **Security clearance requirement:** + Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain & maintain a Poly **Physical requirements:** + Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time + Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
