Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Systems Engineer Intern\. In this role you will, work on the Simulation and System Labs \(SSL\) F\-35 Reprogramming Laboratory \(RL\) Design, Verification & Validation, Integration team\. Our team is responsible for developing the requirements, design, test, and supporting integration of different complex stimulators and other lab avionics systems that reside in these deployed RLs\. These RLs are hardware\-in\-the\-loop labs that our F\-35 customers use to develop and test Mission Data Files \(MDFs\) before they get uploaded to the jet\. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of, write clear and testable requirements, develop design using the System Modeling tool, Cameo, engage across different teams to obtain/communicate technical data and/or coordinate reviews of development artifacts, develop an understanding of systems engineering principles
Must be a US Citizen\.; This position will require a government security clearance\.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline \(Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics\)
Basic understanding of systems engineering
Proficient in MS Office tools \(Excel, PowerPoint, Word\)
Must be a US Citizen\.; This position will require a government security clearance\.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.>**Desired Skills:**

Excellent communication \(written and oral\) and interpersonal skills

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
