Spectrum Reach is in search for a System Engineer - Level IV.  This is a senior-level role responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware.

Manage and maintain servers including monthly security OS patchingInstall, configure and troubleshoot server infrastructureConfigure, install and troubleshoot hardware infrastructureAct as onsite lead for contractors as neededWork closely with architect group to design and implement future infrastructureWork closely with architect group to design and implement additional automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and datacenter componentsImplement robust security measures and compliance standards across datacenter environmentsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing support, advice, and guidanceCommunicate effectively to address client concerns, provide progress updates, and manage expectationsConduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security best practicesDeployment and support of hyperconverged infrastructure including Nutanix, ESXi and Open Stack platformsSupport and deployment of storage systems including EMC and Pure Storage systemsDesign and establish standard operating procedures and lead implementation of approved architecture and designs

Architecture experience in large Hyperconverged Infrastructures utilizing Nutanix, ESXi and Open Stack5-7 years supporting/developing Hyperconverged solutions and environmentsAbility to lift 50+ pounds and rack and unrack serversExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent project management skills focused on outcome based resultsHands-on experience with automated tools such as Ansible and TerraformExperience with various scripting languages including PowerShellExpert knowledge of enterprise storage systems and protocols including EMC and Pure Storage. NFS, iSCSI, NVME over TCP and SMBStrong working knowledge of networking technology (i.e. function of TCP/IP) subnetting and routing.Strong knowledge of Active Directory components including Group Policy, DNS, DFS, Group and User supportGood working knowledge of industry hardware.Experience Windows Server 2016/2019/2022Experience supporting RHEL 7/8/9 and Rocky LinuxService oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player                      Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
