You will be the Systems Engineer - LRASM C-3 Lead for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer - LRASM C-3 Lead, you will be responsible for all aspects of systems engineering for LRASM C-3 activity, including requirements, architecture, system performance, integration, modeling and simulation, and subsystem development.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Lead cross-functional engineering activities in support of missile programs
- Develop and manage system requirements and architecture
- Collaborate with program managers, IPT leads, Chief Engineering, and engineering leads of other disciplines
- Interact with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Manage major subcontracts and participate in major design reviews
- Apply knowledge of Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and Agile process and tools

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in an Engineering related discipline with at least 12 years of professional experience.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering activities in support of missile programs, including but not limited to Conops and trade studies, system analyses, system performance, modeling and simulation, requirements and architecture, configuration control of the technical baseline, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management.

Experience required includes DoD tactical system development program experience, customer interface, requirements derivation/allocation, integration and test planning and execution, management of major subcontracts, understanding of Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and their application, and participation in major design reviews.

Active secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
Experience with system requirements and Architecture development.

Knowledge of the following technologies is desired: Modeling & Simulation, GPS, Processor or FPGA design, aeronautics, GNC, data links, warheads, software implementation, and program protection.

Experience with Agile process and tools, such as JIRA or similar.

Experience with the entire program lifecycle from technology demonstrations to transition to production.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
