Together, we can accomplish amazing things. Monitoring Engineer is responsible for end-to-end metric collection, processing, and alert generation. They will work with various stakeholders to ensure that thresholds are correct, to develop integrations and new monitoring processes, and follow industry best practice to ensure actionable data is available to stakeholder teams. Deploy and configure monitoring tools, including New Relic and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Set up alerts, dashboards, and custom metrics for multiple application teams Collaborate with DevOps groups and Application Development teams to troubleshoot issues. Analyze performance and infrastructure data to inform optimization and cost management efforts. Skills/Abilities: Proficiency with New Relic and Oracle Cloud Monitoring Scripting skills including one or more of Python, Bash, and PowerShell Proficiency with Unix administration and management Knowledge of Database Principles. Knowledge of Operating Windows and Unix Operating systems. Understanding of DevOps Practices and Principles. Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant work experience. 2-5 years’ experience as a Monitoring, Unix, Oracle DBA, or Cloud Engineer. Experience with Oracle Cloud, or Oracle on Premise preferred. Experience with Unix operating systems required. Experience with an Enterprise Monitoring Platform required.
