What you'll do

In this role, you will provide assessments of infrastructure modernization/project costs, design concepts, or design changes. Evaluate/document design specifications, installation instructions, and other infrastructures/system related information. You will verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture, Identify information communications technology (ICT) infrastructure components required to meet requirements, and ensure secured systems. You will collaborate with engineers or software develop to select appropriate design solutions or ensure a compatible of infrastructure/system components, i.e. COT integration. Analyze the integration and operation of complete ICT infrastructure components and systems and establish standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed. Other responsibilities are listed below:

 

Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usabilityProvide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systemsInvestigate system components suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component usePlan or execute the installation, upgrade, and/or tech refresh of infrastructure components, as requiredDevelop or approve project plans, schedules, or budgetsDefine and analyze objectives, spoke, issues, or organizational impact of ICT infrastructureDevelop system integration implementation plansDesign, conduct, or review hardware or software testsEvaluation existing infrastructure to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet requirementsResearch, test, or verify proper functions of patches and fixesCommunicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papersAnalyze or predict system performance under different operating conditionsPerform security analysis of developed or package software components What you'll bring Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (four-year college or university) in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and work experienceSix or more (6+) years in the field of engineeringActive Secret Clearance Experience configuring components to meet requirements and specificationsA commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associationsExperience training system users in systems operation or maintenance Why you'll want to join us Impassioned strategic thinkers who are eager to learn, grow and contribute to a shared company mission.
