Role Overview:

The individual Systems Engineer (OT) primary responsibility is to provide pre-sales technical support on Fortinet security solutions and services within the power, energy and industrial vertical. Candidates should have a strong background in the security domain and knowledge of Operational technology. Will provide guidance and assist major accounts sales team within Fortinet sales organization in building solutions to address specific customer security needs.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales team, and provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers. Present to customers as our expert in the domain and Fortinet’s Security Fabric for the OT strategy at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO. Responsible to understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients. Responsible for carrying out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.). Participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs. Perform Proof of Concept Demo to customers. Work closely and provide direct technical support to our customers. Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.

Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience in network security or application security. Experience in the field of OT(Operational Technology) /ICS (Industrial Control Systems) security projects. Experience on handling big enterprise account, strong in presentation, lab setup and proof-of-concept. Strong understanding of networking technologies, such as Routing, Switching, VPN, etc. Experience with security solutions, such as Firewall, SDWAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, application security, etc. Experience on cloud deployment, such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud, etc. Knowledge on SDN, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment. Knowledge on hacking technique, exploit simulation or penetration test. Good communication and presentation skills. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, NSE4-NSE6 is preferred.
