The Work
Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:
• Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
• Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
• Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
• Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.
• You must have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
• You must be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments.
• Shift work may be required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Note:
• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position involves the ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems and components.
• Experience in the integration and test of Solid State Radar systems.
• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts, if needed, as required by the supported program.
• Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars.
• Experience in Matlab, C++ or Python.
• Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance
• This position involves the possibility to travel domestically or internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.
Desired Skills:
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques.
• Signal processing
• Technical leadership experience with IRAD or program execution.
• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
