**Must have an Active CBP BI clearance or Top Secret clearance at the time of application.**

A Day in the Life of a Systems Engineer (SME) :

Architect, design, develop, and implement engineering solutions for CBP programs.  Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal solutions for the organization. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Lead program SELC tailoring development and preparing the final SELC Tailoring Plan for program management staffing. In coordination with the assigned LSE (and applicable leadership teams), provide oversight, development and technical leadership of engineering documents as identified in the program/project SELC Tailoring Plan. Provide program leadership of all technical matters relating to the product(s). Provide technical direction, in alignment with Program Management views, to all engineers assigned to the program / project.
