We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

Responsibilities Include:

Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testingContributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projectsDevelops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problemsPerform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endOversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management toolsPerforms complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPerforms continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problemsPrepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsAssist senior engineers and field service engineering staffCreate and maintain system architecture and troubleshooting documentationMonitor, analyze, & report information on system performance; identify inefficiencies, issues, and bottlenecksPrepare plans and assessments, such as management engineering plans, integrated support plans, meeting presentations and implementation plansDevelop integrated system requirements and proposed design solutions          Research and documents analysis in technical reports and presents findings and recommendations to meet program requirements  Anticipate and addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms    Troubleshoot and resolve performance problemsEducation:Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field) + 10 yrs. related experience     Qualifications:Experience using Java /J2EE applicationsUnderstanding of networking and internet protocolsFamiliar with Cloud Service ProvidersExperience with web services and API’sExperience using C/C++, SQL, XML and experience with databasesExperience with Cloud securityExperience with IBM Rational Team Concert, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management,  GitHub, Eclipse, Docker, and/or AnsibleKnowledge of the software life cycleKnowledge of user interfacesDemonstrate strength in solving complex problemsInterpersonal skills to interact with team members and customerFlexible with schedule Dependable
