Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the System of Systems Engineering and Integration Team.

As a System Engineer for the Flight Test Planning branch of System Test you will:

• Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly.

• Evaluate the missile trajectory to figure out data collection support requirements for each FBM flight test.

• Create technical documents, providing feedback to data packages to support peer and customer reviews.

• Present analysis results and Flight Test Planning material to internal engineering teams, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel during technical exchange meetings.

Typically candidates will have a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience.

This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: The Space Coast of Florida.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science

• Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
Desired Skills:
• Experience interacting with National Test Ranges.

• 4+ years of relevant systems engineering.

• Effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements.

• Experience integrating across functional organizations.

• Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired.

• Experience scripting using MATLAB or Python.

• Must have Active Secret clearance, thus US citizenship is required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
