You will be the Systems Engineer, Sr on the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) organization - specifically on the F-35 Reprogramming Laboratory (RL) Design, Verification & Validation, Integration team. Within the SSL organization resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer Stf on the SSL F-35 RL Design, Verification & Validation, Integration team where you will be working with your technical lead and others on the team to:
• Develop test plans & procedures based on system requirements
• Perform avionics software and hardware integration testing in a laboratory environment
• Support avionics troubleshooting in the lab
• Perform data analysis
These activities will be done for multiple avionics capabilities including but not limited to radar, electronic warfare, Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI), displays, and mission computer systems.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline. (Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics)
• Avionic Systems experience (i.e., Electronic Warfare/countermeasures, radar, data link, etc.)
• Integration and test experience working in a lab environment
Desired Skills:
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills
• Demonstrated experience cross collaborating with different engineering teams
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with basic RF fundamentals
• Experience with RF instrumentation such as:
o Spectrum Analyzers
o Oscilloscopes
o Vector Network Analyzers
o Signal Generators
• Understanding of radar cross section (RCS) and
antennas
• Familiarity with emitter characteristics such as:
o Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI)
o Pulse Width
o Scan Patterns
o Effective Radiated Power (ERP)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
