What is the role about?
The System Engineer is responsible for providing second-level technical support to end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to service requests, and escalating more complex issues to higher-level support as necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a basic understanding of IT systems and networks.
Which tasks will you perform?
Provide support to end-users for computer, application, system, device, and access issues. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Set up new user accounts, permissions, and passwords, including imaging new computers for deployment. Monitor daily computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Provide technical support via phone, email, voicemail, instant messaging, and remote software. Monitor ticket queues for incoming support requests. Create tickets as needed for incoming calls, chats, and emails. Always be ready to help each customer to the best of your ability. As well as following every issue through to the end. Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices for IT support. All other duties as assignedWhat do we expect from you?
You will have (required): Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldYou may have (preferred):
2+ years’ experience in a desktop support or IT support role preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software Familiarity with common IT support tools and methodologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCP, or similar are advantageous Customer service skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, reps, and customers Working understanding of Active Directory, Intune Admin Center, and Azure.What can you expect from us?
