Systems Engineer – Territory (Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino)

About the Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Territory Account Managers across Lombardia, Veneto, and Trentino. You’ll help secure customer success by delivering tailored, industry-leading cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drive technical success throughout the sales cycle, from RFIs to RFPs and POCs, collaborating with internal and customer teams. Understand customer needs and craft solutions that outperform competitors. Act as the technical point of contact for customers and partners, working closely with your sales counterpart. Stay up-to-date with Fortinet’s product suite and the competitive landscape, delivering solutions that adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats. Present Fortinet solutions effectively, using whiteboarding, technical papers, and discussions, both remotely and on-site. Manage multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Keep accurate records in Salesforce, maintaining visibility into account activities and technical requirements.

Your Profile

Expertise in cybersecurity technologies, including encryption, authentication, network security, and intrusion detection. Knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and CISSP accreditation is a plus. Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, managing technical aspects of deals from initiation to closure. Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of contributing to key wins. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships while communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with technologies and protocols such as IPSEC, SSL, PKI, FIREWALL, and more.
