NASA JSC Engineering is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Systems Engineer - Gateway xLab Technical Integration to join our team with Nexus Solutions.. In this position you will work closely with multiple labs, teams and division across NASA. You will also develop, and curate continuous improvement plans for the sustainment and future growth of the xLab's capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lab management, process and procedure development and a strong strategic vision for the direction of the lab equipment and personnel.\n

Description:\n\nProvide technical Integration among multiple labs, including managing interfaces between labs for joint tests\nCoordination of lab certification plans, integration with program goals and schedules, and implementation of common services and processes\nParticipate, track, and report on event execution, including URR, TRR, for integrated demonstrations and tests\nOperate and maintain the lab environment hardware and software\nCoordinate and Manage facility space utilization and occupation\nLead the development of processes and plans to complete the xLab facility including but not limited to lab equipment, IT security plans, etc.\nIntegrate multiple dimensions of lab management into a comprehensive plan in order to develop and execute a schedule\nEffectively communicate with internal and external customers and be customer-focused\nManage, update, and maintain configuration management of lab and resources, processes, and procedures\nConduct project and resource planning and reporting ()\nDocument and maintain comprehensive Lab Configuration and Operational Requirements\nPerform other duties as assigned\u200b\n\nQualifications\n

Requisition Qualifications:\n

Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.\n\nRequires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's degree and normally possess 10-15 years of related experience\nExperience with avionics test lab integration including facility, IT, and operations\nExperience in system integration, systems engineering and ICD development\nExperience with technical integration including hardware and software integration\nExperience with security planning, implementation, and maintenance\nExperience with software license management including tracking and procurement\nDemonstrate problem-solving background with accompanying troubleshooting skills\nDemonstrate effective communication with customers and other team members, both written and orally\nAble to quickly adapt to new situations and a willingness to learn new technologies\nAble to work independently as well as collectively within a team\nMust be willing to work onsite at Johnson Space Center\u200b\n
