Our Systems Engineering team is dedicated to innovation and excellence in the automotive/trucking industry. We focus on developing advanced systems that enhance vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency of our truck, bus & powertrain products. 

 

About the Intern Program

12 week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 240 hours per weekMust graduate between December 2025 - May 2027 Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and integration of complex vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software componentsSupport the creation and maintenance of system requirements, specifications, and architecture documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of vehicle systemsParticipate in system-level testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsConduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system issues in prototype and production vehiclesPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
