Position Description:
Analyze and decompose System to Sub-system level requirements
Perform Engineering calculations in support of sub-system performance allocation
Develop sub-system architectures, ensuring consistency with developed requirements, in collaboration with the Vehicle Architect
Establish requirements traceability
Collaborate cross-functionally to collect and analyze technical data in support of requirements development
Perform requirement change impact analysis
Provide support to team members on how to generate, capture, manage, validate and verify requirements
Generate, manage and release Sub-System requirements specifications from Engineering inputs and support development and release of System requirements specifications.
Analyze stakeholder needs and translate those needs in to sub-system requirements.
Participate in customer discussions and meetings regarding requirements
Support Requirements Management Lead to develop customer deliverables and plan requirements management strategies
Identify process improvement initiatives

Position Requirements:
University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering or Software engineering
Strong technical and analytical ability
Product knowledge of Military/LAV family of vehicles
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
Strong systems thinking perspective
Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 10% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.

Preferred Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cross-departmental procedures/practices
Knowledge of vehicle design practices
Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS, Enterprise Architect or CAMEO systems modeler
Experience with Systems requirements definition, analysis, allocations
Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology and tools
