Summary: Seeking experienced Systems Engineers for a 12-month contract to support space/missile/aero projects with Redwire Space.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Minimum of 5 years in a systems engineering role within space, missile, or aeronautical operations

Strong documentation skills including traceability and test plans background

Ability to manage requirements including review, decomposition, and mapping to testing criteria

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multi-site collaboration

Familiarity with NASA or DoD lifecycle reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)

Knowledge of requirement tracking tools such as DOORs, Jama, R4J

Experience with workflow management tools such as Jira

Prior experience developing space systems for challenging environments

Job Responsibilities:

Lead technical team through requirements development, testing, verification, and validation processes

Ensure product development aligns with compliance standards and successful CDR milestone achievement

Manage Interface Control Documents and coordinate communication across cross-functional teams

Support the development and refinement of test plans and procedures

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
