Job Description

ResponsibilitiesLead the integration and testing of complex space systems, including spacecraft, propulsion systems, and communication networks.Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules to validate system performance and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and mission operations, to ensure seamless system integration.Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system functionality and mission readiness.Document test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.Support mission simulations and rehearsals to validate system performance under various scenarios.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration and testing, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.Strong understanding of spacecraft systems, including avionics, propulsion, and communication systems.Proficiency in using test equipment and software tools for data acquisition and analysis.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Secret Clearance.Ability to travel 10%.Experience in test procedure/test plan development.Formal testing experience (DTE/SAT/FAT).Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field.Experience with deep space missions or long-duration spaceflight.Knowledge of industry standards such as NASA, ESA, or other space agency guidelines.Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.Requirements sell-off experience.Work Environment

The position requires working Monday to Thursday in the office located near the COS airport, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays. The role may involve occasional travel up to 10%.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00
