The Opportunity:
This position is with our Systems Development Group. You will spend some of your time developing, debugging, and maintaining software applications, and have responsibility for the ecosystem the software executes on. This includes installation/configuration of the operating system, performing cyber security scans and hardening on the system, creating/maintaining utility scripts and contributing to the automated build process for the system. You will also get to demonstrate your basic networking and hardware knowledge when solving system issues. You will have the opportunity to interact with the customer to receive direct feedback on defects and enhancement requests which you will turn into a backlog for future releases of the software
Responsibilities:Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer/operational requirements Develop automation for rapid system buildsDevelop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirementsPeriodically travel onsite to integrate operational systems and updatesProfile, analyze, and optimize legacy software system
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or other relevant experience7+ years of applicable experienceMust be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceSolid Linux system and scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar toolsBasic understanding of software, complex design concepts, patterns, tools and best practicesBasic understanding of virtualization and configuring hypervisor software
Desired:
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Some experience with a popular CI/CD system such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, or CircleCI
Basic ability to code in high-level languages such as Golang, TypeScript as well as low-level languages such as C and C++
Basic understanding of software, complex design concepts, distributed systems, networking, patterns, tools, and best practices
Familiarity with device boot processes, such as BIOS, UEFI, and PXE boot capabilities

The proposed salary range for this position is:
