The System Integration Engineer will perform work associated with designing control panels, programming PLCs, programming graphics interfaces (HMIs) and on-site commissioning support for a variety of aviation projects with a focus on jet fuel delivery systems. Other related projects may include federal and government work with support for other company global practices. The Integration Engineer will work in the field, assisting project teams and subcontractors to support the commissioning of associated controls equipment and support subcontractors through troubleshooting.

Core competency will be a focus on ControlLogix and Ignition HMI system integration with a medium industrial network with communication to VFDs and other remote devices.

Major responsibilities include assisting staff and senior level integration team members with the following activities:

Oversight of self-perform or subcontractor installation.Assess physical installation readiness for commissioning based on design specifications.Perform testing of cables, pinouts, automation points, etc. using applicable toolsPower on devices using standard panel breaker and rack fuses.Conduct visual confirmation of successful device turn-up.Commission site and client application verification according to industry accepted commissioning standards.Review and update intermediate level as-built documentation for publication to client.Establish and maintain relationships with client field staff on scope, progress, and return of removed devices.Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.Support execution of complex assignments requiring the use of advanced tools and techniques, resulting in the development of new or improved processes, equipment and/or technological methods.Work closely with the project team to ensure deliverables and services are being provided to client’s satisfaction and that projects are following internal QA/QC guidelines.Perform design quality reviews.Meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel to develop relationships with key client points of contact.
