We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer for Gateway C&T Systems to join our team with Mb Solutions, a teammate company. \n

The Systems Integration Engineer for Gateway C&T Systems will: \n\nServe as the Subject Matter Expert for the Communications and Tracking Sub-Systems of the Gateway Level 2 Sub-Systems\nAssess design compliance of the Gateway Level 2 requirements to commercial providers\nMaintain and update Gateway Level 2 requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements Documents\nTrack and maintain requirement documents on task schedule\nSupport the Gateway verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices (VCNs)\nDevelop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification\/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering\nConduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities\nReview verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirements\nParticipate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews\nPerform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance\nMust have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment\u200b\nPerform other duties as required\n\n \n

Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.\n\nTypically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.\nBS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school\nOn location position - situational telework only\nKnowledge and understanding of digital and analog RF communication systems such as RF basics, radio propagation, antennas, and modulation\nKnowledge and understanding of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and technologies including model based systems engineering\nKnowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirements\nKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.\nAbility to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings\nAble to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision\nExperience working in a team environment\n\n
