Systems Integration Specialist

Parchment, the market leader in electronic credential exchange, is looking for a full-time, Systems Integration Specialist to be part of the team that deploys Parchment applications to new clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage projects and workload. The ideal candidate will embrace technical challenges, enjoy problem solving, and have a willingness to learn.  Knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Colleague and Peoplesoft SIS platforms are a bonus. This individual is a team player who believes in the synergy and success of working in a team environment.

The position will be based in either our Denver, CO office, or our office in Scottsdale, AZ, and offers a competitive salary and equity for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Assist with diploma and certificate design using XML and XSLT for the Parchment Award service Participate in the Tier 3 support escalation as it relates to the Parchment SIS Connectors Assist in the provisioning of the Parchment SIS Connectors to new Members.  This includes configuration, migration and validation of the service. Assist in the testing and validation of the Parchment SIS Connectors Assist in the credential loads for the Parchment Registrar Services. Be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them to solve complex business needs using the Parchment applications Represent Parchment professionally in both client and team situations Maintain own workflow, effectively prioritizing to best meet project goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Proficient with Linux, shell scripting and commands Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Familiarity with SSH, SFTP, Web Service technologies Familiarity with XML, XSLT Performs quality work, with an attention to detail Must be able to work independently and manage own schedule Ability to be flexible and shift actives to meet changing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
