Systems Integration & Testing Engineer Technical Specialist

If so, the Verification, Validation, and Transition (VV&T) team is your calling! Arcfield has over 40 years supporting this mission critical program, along with a proven track record of providing outstanding customer support with consistent high award fees. This well-established, tenured team of SETA is looking to expand their expertise and is seeking a candidate who will play a pivotal role in the planning and acquisition of space and ground-based systems, test and integrate with other segments and transition to operations. The VV&T team is responsible for technical support of the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities for national assets, associated ground segments and services, and mission processing systems within the enterprise. The team executes several enterprise tests and provides the recommended closure of enterprise and system requirements; Independent Verification, Validation and Transition in support of delivered system capabilities and mission closure, overseeing readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level test milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers. This position requires an understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. This position will serve as a technical member of a dynamic systems engineering integration and test team supporting software and hardware development programs. Responsibilities: Participate in the integration initiatives for a development contract on behalf of the customer. Perform Agile System Integration to include transition to Ops in a DevOps construct and will support agile test strategies allowing for continuous integration/continuous delivery. Write test strategies and plans, execute tests, analyze data and author summarized results in a test report. Perform investigations into potential new capabilities being proposed by the developer and provide guidance on relevance and worth. Assess test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure delivery of ground systems meet system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities and integrates ground segment and system elements together so they work as a whole. Perform acquisition system integration tasks, to include regression testing, and provide deliverables in support of integrating the products, processes, subsystems, and components of a system. Participate in the creation of assessment reports and VV&T results. Have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and may lead projects for systems teamwork, have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various ground offices. Have daily interaction with the developer and customer and supporting contractors and will need to follow integration processes as to transition capabilities through the lifecycle. Qualifications Required: Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD. Experience with space/ground testing and systems engineering, systems integration, Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) activities. Broad Systems Engineering experience with R/F. Experience with Cross Domain Solutions. Experience supporting agile system level automated focused test, DevOps verification strategies and integration of new systems and initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities. Experience writing test strategies and plans, executing tests, analyzing data and summarizing results. Experience with automated test tools and reading output from automated tests. Experience defining VV&T activities and products (Ex. Strategies, Test Plans, Request for Changes, Requirement Verification Trace Matrix). Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks. Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through. Desired: Prior experience with GEOINT and/or SIGINT systems, and/or mission operations is highly desired. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
