Systems Integrator - Configuration Management (CM)

Responsibilities As a Configuration Manager, your duty is to establish and standardize best practices for engineering and development configurations across your team and the office. Such duties include: Standardizing system documentation, onboarding and offboarding policies for engineering teams and user guides Establish the functional CM baseline to ensure proper file sharing, accesses, and documentation control in support of program activities Managing and administering version control system, such as software repositories Administering and managing configuration management tools, including build and release management tools Ensure that software builds are consistent and repeatable, and assist with moving teams to technologies that help manage these activities Manage changes to software configuration standards, conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness, and ensure that the configuration management processes and procedures comply with organizational and security requirements Monthly and/or weekly reporting Qualifications Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a scientific or technical discipline BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7 Ability to fully coordinate project schedules Ability to coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem Provides a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components Desired Qualifications: Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system Experience with document management platforms, such as M-Files Experience with DevOps and configuration management tools and platforms, such as Terraform and Ansible Experience with tools and platforms for development and version control, such as GitHub Experience establishing and maintaining configuration baselines EEO Statement EEO Arcfield proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
