Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:

Develop migration project proposals with a clear plan of action, level of effort estimate, and delivery timelineWork with analysts to plan, prioritize and execute data discovery and integrationWork with developers to plan and execute agile development sprintsProvide input on network design and implementation plansHelp establish configuration management system(s)Develop strategic working relationship with partner offices and componentsEngage with team on project executionCreate and deliver program and project artifacts and deliverablesSupport customer and program strategic and tactical planning activitiesHelp to execute the customer’s technological strategic visionHelp document and transition security plans for new and/or legacy systems

Minimum Requirements:

US Citizen with active/current TS/SCI security clearance with required PolygraphBachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Geography etc.  4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.Experience with accreditation requirements and standards including creation of required documentationMinimum 5 years’ professional experience.Experience using software development project management software, specifically JIRA

Desired Skills:

Ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processesKnowledge of cloud migration approaches and patternsExperience with AWS cloud services or cloud native application development processesExperience with JIRA and/or ConfluenceFamiliarity with agile developmentFamiliarity with Intelligence Community dataFamiliarity with geospatial tools and applicationsExperience supporting enterprise applicationsExperience or knowledge of the Sponsor’s Analysis mission needs and operationsExperience working with the Sponsor’s Project Management framework

In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $131,000.00 - $219,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
