The Systems/MEP Manager is involved in all aspects of the Mechanical, Electrical (including Low Voltage, Security, Fire Alarm, etc.), Plumbing, Fire Protection, Controls, Elevators, Pools, and Food Service trades from design build management, coordination and submittal review process, field inspections, TAB management and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Lead project pursuits for the MEP scopeManage MEP design coordination processManage MEP trade 3D coordination meetingsManage MEP coordinated drawing submittals in accordance with the contract documentsReview and process MEP trade submittals and materials/equipment tracking in accordance with the project scheduleDevelop, monitor, and maintain the MEP schedule in conjunction with project teamReview field installation and facilitate city inspectionsManage testing and commissioning effortsTrack and assist in resolution of open MEP issuesReview and advise on MEP requisitions and contract changesHandle MEP related close out document deliveryDevelop and maintain professional relationships with Owners, Design Team and Subcontractor PartnersEncourage and/or participate in staff training and development

 

Basic Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related discipline or relevant work experience5+ years construction trade specific experienceStrong interest in the MEP management career pathAnalytical thinking and strong problem-solving skillsLarge scale commercial, healthcare, or mission critical project experience beneficial
