Description : Software Engineer experienced in real-time software development on voice protocol like SIP and MGCP that are specified in Packet Cable 2.0 and Packet Cable 1.5, Cordless Advanced Technology - internet and quality (CAT-iq 2.0 and above) and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT), RTOS/Linux porting and integration, device drivers, processor and SoC architectures. Should be comfortable with digital hardware components, schematics, and the use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.



KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Must have software development on Voice over IP (VoIP) protocol like Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) that are specific to PacketCable 2.0 and Packet Cable 1.5.

• Must have working experience on CAT-iq 2.0 and above. Also experience on DECT.

• Working experience on Cable Modem with Embedded Digital Voice Adapter (eDVA) is must.

• Object-oriented software design, development using C++ and integration testing.

• 10+ years C++ and C development experience on Linux, knowledge of open-source ecosystem and current developments

• Multi threaded (like posix thread) programming is must.

• Understanding on DOCSIS 3.0 protocol, WiFi, MoCA

• Detailed understanding of processor architecture, operating system internals, compiler/linker

• Exposure to wide range of technologies, able to learn details or new systems quickly

• Resolution of complex software integration issues

• Networking and routing technologies.
