Systems Process Engineer
Job Summary:
Our client in Irvine, CA is looking for a Systems Process Engineer. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
A mix of process development and systems engineering, this role is focussed on the application of process and tool engineering to the framework of systems engineering.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process Training and Support: Support project architecture discussions with teams, providing expertise on tool integration and data management best practices. Coach teams on proper data input to the systems engineering toolset. Be a key point of contact for tool questions across features, requirements, testing, standards, and issue management. Process Improvement and Reporting: Create methods of reporting and dashboards relevant to engineering processes. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement. Tool Automation and Optimization: Develop and maintain automated solutions across requirements management, testing, and standards to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Consistently improve and optimize how existing tools work. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage tools more effectively. Data Migration and Management: Support the migration of data from Jama to a new platform, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption. Help maintain the systems engineering and issue management toolsets, including user permissions, data structures, and system configurations. Characteristics: Open, can do attitude. Basics:
2 years experience in an engineering role. Development and maintenance of tool automations across requirements management, testing and Standards - consistently improve and optimize how our tools work. Experienced in Python Experienced in AWS - particularly Lambda, S3, VPC Some experience in a requirements tool such as Polarion, Jama Process development experience preferred Database experience preferred (Redshift, Databricks, etc) Help support maintenance of the systems engineering toolset and issue management toolset in terms of permissions and data structure. Support project architecture discussions with teams and coach teams on data input to systems engineering toolset. Be a key point of contact for tool questions across features, requirements, testing, standards and issue management.Salary range: 78k - 108k annual.
