Position Number: 001763 Department: Office of OneIT (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position provides CCI with a comprehensive set of technical support services including management and security of the college server and storage infrastructure. + Design, implement, configure, manage, and monitor server and storage infrastructure for CCI research and teaching. + Investigate, recommend, implement, and enhance hardware and software technologies used by College research teams. + Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve performance and automate tasks. + Manage cloud-based services as needed for research and teaching projects. + Assist with the creation and periodic testing of CCI disaster recovery processes and procedures. + Acts as a technical liaison with OneIT Infrastructure teams Minimum Experience / Education: + Bachelor’s degree and + Three years of system administration experience. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: + Expertise in multiple Linux OS environments including Ubuntu, RHEL , and CentOS. + Expertise in Windows server environments.
