Description We are on the lookout for a Systems Security Administrator for our transport industry operations located in Houston, Texas, 77042-3032, United States. As a Systems Security Administrator, you will be tasked with managing security threats, maintaining security software, and implementing security policies. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize Microsoft Security Stack in O365 E5 Security products and Sentinel One to analyze, contain, and remediate security threats swiftly. • Implement Microsoft security products and manage the platform effectively. • Use vulnerability management software such as Rapid7 or Tenable, manage, and tune the platform. • Work collaboratively with team members to overcome challenges with patch management cycles. • Use Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, SIEM to investigate suspicious activity and perform threat hunting. • Demonstrate a solid understanding of MSFT Windows Environment, networking, the concept of Firewall, and Security Architecture. • Perform regular maintenance on security software and ensure it is installed correctly. • Implement firm security policies. • Have some experience with DevSecOps tools like Github, DAST, SAST. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with a focus on securing data and maintaining privacy • Comprehensive understanding and experience with Windows Defender for system security • Demonstrable experience with SIEM Tools for real-time analysis of security alerts • Knowledge and experience in identifying and managing network vulnerabilities • Experience working in the transport industry, understanding its unique security needs • Ability to develop, implement, and maintain security protocols and procedures • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address and overcome security issues • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments regarding system security • Proven track record in managing security incidents and mitigating risks • Relevant certifications in Systems Security or related field would be advantageous Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
