Summary: Designs, creates, tests, maintains, and deploys software applications. Oversee software programming, testing software at various phases of completion, laying out software design, building models or diagrams to communicate the end goal and mapping out future software upgrades. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Collaborate with system architects and engineers to design and implement system-level software components, including device drivers, firmware, and operating system kernels. Design and develop device drivers for hardware components, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance across different operating systems and platforms. Contribute to the development of operating system kernels and system libraries, implementing core functionalities and system services. Develop software for embedded systems, IoT devices, and real-time operating systems, optimizing code for resource-constrained environments and ensuring real-time responsiveness. Debug and troubleshoot system-level software issues, analyzing system logs, and performance metrics to identify and resolve technical problems. Work in a fast-paced development environment. Participate in team development and provide technical advice/implementation. Meet delivery timelines with attention to detail to ensure delivery of responsive solutions. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Cloud migration knowledge. Kubernetes/container knowledge is a plus. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Able to work without direct supervision. Excellent communication skills. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant discipline OR equivalent years of experience. Minimum 4 years of SharePoint development experience. Minimum of 1 year working in an agile software development environment. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience transitioning an agency or customer from SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or another software platform.
