SummaryMaintains highly specialized electronic, electrical, and mechanical processing equipment including but not limited to; electronic sorting, defect removal, sizing, sorter PM’s, ADR, and cutting systems working closely with a variety of operators training them on equipment operation and maintenance by performing the following duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains, repairs, adjusts and/or replaces electromechanical devices of the sorters, defect removal, sizing and cutter equipment, weigh belts, and X-Ray systems. Reports, records, necessary or appropriate information as required to directed on safety production, quality, sanitation, and maintenance issues. Communicates on a timely basis appropriate information to operations, its supervision and to others on the operation of electronic equipment performance to minimize loss and maximize productivity ensuring appropriate quality. Trains and instructs on the concepts of the electronic and mechanical equipment, its operation, adjustment, repair, maintenance of various operators such as, but not limited to; cutter deck operator, cutter deck attendant. Demonstrates the necessary degree of interpersonal skills to be able to foster a “Team Effort” and incorporate high morale among co-workers. Supplies own tools. Must be proficient in SAP/JDE including but not limited to work order notifications, work orders, and PM completion data entry. Typical Education AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology or Industrial Instrumentation, or Technical certification of electronics Relevant Experience Equivalent military training; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
