As an Airborne Systems Test Engineer, you'll be instrumental in validating state-of-the-art Engine Monitoring Systems. We're looking for a proactive team player with exceptional communication skills and a background in systems verification & validation. The ideal candidate will have a background in test equipment development and automation, with programming proficiency using high-level languages like Python, C, and/or C++. This role involves leading and architecting test equipment systems, used in the development, qualification, and production of aerospace components and systems. The successful candidate will analyze requirements to produce relevant tests, ensuring the robustness and reliability of embedded systems. Qualifications Required Education: + Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. Required Experience: + 5 to 10 years' experience in designing test equipment systems preferably in an aerospace environment + Experience in developing test scripts using a high-level language like C, C++ or Python. + Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. + Previous experience leading the development of a system validation bench is highly desirable. Required Skills + Understanding of embedded systems and the development lifecycle + Proficiency in hardware design and system integration, with expertise in relevant tools and technologies + Proficiency in Python, C/C++ or other scripting languages + Experience with requirements management systems (e.g. DOORS) + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Communication and documentation abilities. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. + Leadership skills with the ability to direct additional resources to complete tasks.
