Job Description Summary:

A Systems Analysis Engineer 1 develops and applies advanced Digital Engineering capabilities for the analysis of complex systems in domains such as: strategic deterrence, missile defense, hypersonics, space, precision guided munitions, autonomous air/sea vehicles, and biotechnology. Our multi-disciplinary teams innovate and develop solutions for full system development lifecycle from trade studies, to concept and architecture design, to integration, to testing and operation.
This individual will be working at the Navy Guidance Test Facility on the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The assignment will be in direct support to the Navy’s Trident Guidance System test program, working within the Data Systems and Flight Test Support group.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
• Independently execute system engineering lifecycle assignments; concept and architecture design, integration, testing and operation, under the oversight of program leadership.
• Provide content for technical reports and presentations with appropriate guidance.
• Adapt appropriately to changes in program priorities and requirements.
• Identify challenges associated with assigned work and communicate them to project leadership.
• Continues to expand their depth/knowledge in their technical discipline through formal and informal learning.
• Work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment including stakeholders and external partners.
• Contribute to translation of requirements into technical and architectural decisions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience
• Requires 0-3 years experience in systems analysis or related.
• Experience in use of MBSE tools such as SysML, knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink a plus.
• Experience in integrating descriptive modeling tools with other simulation tools a plus.

Additional Job Description:

The individual will also be responsible for the following:

GN&C subsystems analysis.Systems Test conduct to include future test design and implementation.Data processing, analysis, and management.Work within engineering team to provide information critical to analysis of Guidance System performance.Work closely with engineering staff in the Data Systems group to organize data and produce data products.Communicate analysis to local engineering staff and staff located at the Draper headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.Ability to travel for short periods, typically less than one week.

Secret Clearance is required.
