Job Summary: Coordinate/supervise engineering design activities related to specific engineering systems or plant areas that are critical for the project (i.e. underground network, 3D CAD model, complex package systems, modules, etc.), in accordance with contract requirements/project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality. Support Project Management for specific engineering systems or plant areas, promoting active interaction within engineering team and with other project team key functions.
Job Responsibilities: Support the Technical Manager in engineering coordination of specific engineering systems / plant areas or bid activities. Ensure definition of engineering systems / plant areas to find optimized / integrated / competitive solutions and shared approach to tender documents. Facilitate technical decisions in case of different positions or conflicts between disciplines. Ensure review / application of contractual documents within own area of responsibility. Supervise issue of multidisciplinary engineering deliverables within own area of responsibility. Support Construction Management ensuring availability of engineering documents, within own area of responsibility. Support Field Engineering Manager with site activities related to specific system or 3D Model.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Accredited tertiary qualification in Engineering. Minimum Ten (10) years’ experience in relevant field of study as system engineering management.
