We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Process/Electrical Engineer to join our Technology & Innovation team located in the Tonsley Innovation District in Adelaide. This position plays a critical role in technology and process development and requires reporting on technical topics to leaders and senior management. The key responsibilities for this position include (but not limited to):
Work on multidisciplinary projects to provide fully coordinated solutions.Lead global work packages to support projects with the collaboration of multiple functional groups across multiple countries with limited supervision.Manage electrical and process engineering projects and ensure project is adequately planned by developing technical specifications, process specifications, job instructions / procedures, material and services requirements, tools and equipment requirements.Utilise problem-solving skills to establish innovative solutions through all parts of the design and implementation process.Conduct research to understand the interaction between coating properties and process parameters.Preparation of protocols and reports such as Feasibility, Technology Qualification and Validation following the APQP process.Provide overall planning for projects and work packages as well as preparation of monthly updates, as required.Upgrading process equipment (both electrical and mechanical) within Technology & Innovation.Compliance with all appropriate Work, Health, Safety and Environmental legislation within the workplace.Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork.The key requirements for this role include:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechatronics).Minimum 3-5 years’ experience.Experience in Electrical, Programming, PLC upgrading within a process-driven engineering environment.Demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions to budget and schedule expectations.Enthusiasm for hands on work, innovation and problem solving.Personable, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Analytical approach to problem solving.A motivated self-starter with strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a positive can-do attitude.Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver results on time.Strong work ethic.Available for international travel, as required.Ability to work flexible hours for some international collaboration and meetings.Desirables:
