Major Responsibilities:

1. Works closely with recruiters to understand talent needs and acts on developed sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent. Performs advanced sourcing including social media, internet and data base mining, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, and community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.

2. Utilizes knowledge of multiple recruiting sources to identify, screen, attract and target top talent by leveraging the use of technology while engaging, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.

3. Provides additional talent acquisition assistance, as required, and shares viable candidates across the system. Represents UMMH at job fairs, open houses, and recruiting events.

4. Communicates status of searches with recruiters on a consistent and timely basis.

Position Qualifications:

Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline.

Preferred:

1. Relevant professional credentials, such as SHRM-CP, HCI Strategic Talent Acquisition, Certified Internet Recruiter.

Experience/Skill:

Required:

1. 1-3 years of related work experience.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3. Proven ability to maintain discretion in confidential situations.

4. Experience with computer systems required including we based applications and Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Preferred:

1. Previous human resources or talent acquisition experience; LinkedIn Recruiter knowledge a plus.

2. Workday experience highly desirable.
